Dave,
Merry Christmas mate, first you need 'Edit Voice Pack' installed then you import the file in to it for FS to use it. When you install EVP Tom has done a little help for importing these files in the 'Classic Tips' section.

As I know 'Chosonminhang Korean Airways (CAAK)' is airlines that was operated by North Korean Government before Air Koryo, Which is now North Korean flag career. "Air Korea' is one operated by South Korean Corporation 'Hanjin Corporation' which now is mother company of Korean Air. So, I think selecting Air Korea's call sign as 'Chosonminhang Korean Airways' is bit error I'm pretty certain "Air Korea" was the call sign issued by the ICAO - whether or not the airline chose to use it I cannot say. For domestic flights airlines do not have to work to ICAO rules and can even use their local language if they wish. I use www.airframes.org/airlines/ as my main reference - this is the only data source I know of that appears to be extremely accurate and therefore is almost certainly based on official ICAO data. You will find it listed there. Kind regards, John

Merry Christmas to you too. Well, I have had EVP installed for a long time but there is a problem. When I try to run it I get this screen: which mystifies me because FS2004 has been on the computer since 2004 with no problems otherwise. I don't really want to have to re-install FS2004 along with all the 1950 scenery CalClassic addons. I am reluctant to re-install EVP, if that is possible, for fear that all the other callsigns, airport etc words wil have to be re-installed too. So there you are. Maybe I should just leave well enough alone. Thank you for your help Dave McQueen

Dave, this may be a dumb question, but did you notice that there are two versions of the file? One is for FS2002 and the other is version 3.1 for FS9. Could you have inadvertantly installed the FS2002? You might check that. If that was the case...the Registry would show it as an error if reading FS9.

Hi,
Download and run the Flight 1 FS2004 registry fix program. It will fix that problem.
Hope this helps,

Thanks John, Jesse and Tom. Can't believe you are all reading the Forum on Dec. 25 ;D And Jesse, you read pretty well for a man with only one eye (Thats a JOKE son!!!!)
I downloaded the file Tom mentioned and it worked lickedysplit. Thats one to keep in some convenient place, just in case.... EVP has been upgraded since I last used it and it was straightforward to get "Colonial" to speak in FS but Tom's Tips on the subject were valuable too. 78,860 updated wav files later and it was set to go.
I took the DC-4 out for a ride and made an ILS Runway 35 approach to KSTJ , full stop, without difficulty. They said Colonial everytime we received a transmission. Thanks again!

Hey Jesse, That's what we called TWA also. United: Untidy, Western: Were always late, and a few more that shouldn't be noted on a public site. hehe.
