Hi all. My name is Chris, and I'm a flightsim addict....
Wait, wrong speech...
Right one:
I've started work on an update to Daisuke's C-119G, specifically fixing the flight dynamics and updating the panel to something closer to what we have for other airplanes on this site.
I have received permission from Hans-Joerg Naegele (gauge programmer for the Connie team) to use some of his gauges for the basis of this new panel, but I need some assistance with building the bitmaps for both the panel and the gauges as that's an area in which I am sadly lacking skill. I can program the gauges and the flight dynamics and Hans-Joerg's gauges have been a great teacher in that quest.
If anyone is interested in helping me, I have the 1C-119G-1 (aka the USAF "Dash-1") on the C-119 and it is EXCELLENTLY illustrated to show all of the panel layouts and such to be able to create a bitmap from. There is fairly decent resources online for pictures of the C-119 as well for source material.
What I am looking to do mainly is build a C-119G panel that is more in line with the aircraft as post-military civilian transports where they saw more 2-person flight deck crews, but would be willing to do the programming and integration for the original 4-man flight crew (Pilot, Co-Pilot, Nav, & Radio) if the person helping with the bitmaps wants to.
Please contact me either via PM or e-mail if you are interested.
