While finishing up Caracas I decided to start a new project on an airport a little bit closer to home. Closer as in same country. Clue - Located in the Northeastern part of the US, along a major river. 2hours driving from Philadelphia and 3hours from NYC. Rendition of what it looked like in 1958.

Nope, not Dover. It had one of the shortest runways to see jet traffic in the US, at 4970ft.

You are the winner. Harrisburg airport , aka Capitol city KCXY. I will probably include both 1958 and 1962 to reflect the terminal expansion. I also plan on doing KMDT or what used to be Olmsted AFB right across the Susquehanna river.
