Hello !!
just started using the DC-6 panel. I notice there is DME equiptment on the navigators panel, but not on the main panel. Is that correct, or is it on the main panel too and I am just missing it?
Question 2.....Is it accurate to be using DME on this aircraft?
let me know.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
I hope you found the gauge you click into to get DME1. Otherwise you need to use the copilot's panel, or the navigator. The copilot's panel represents a later panel from the mid to late 60's, while the pilot's panel is from the 50's and early 60's. DME wasn't typically added to propliners until around 1963 (required by the FAA???).
Hope this helps,
