The insides of the cowl flaps were not painted, as far as I know. So they would still be silver.

good morning, is it possible, to change the jbk-model view into your nacelle-view?

If you mean Wing Views, my DC-4 panel.cfg file already has them.
Check to see if yours does too. They should much like the lines below, in the [Views] section. The DC-4 panel.cfg file can be found in the FS\Aircraft\JBK DC4 Panel and Docs\panel folder (at least the one I have).
VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.000, -0.250, -15.470 VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.000, 0.000, 50.000
VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=3.000, -0.100, 5.490 VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=9.000, 0.000, 147.000
VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=-1.800, -0.100, 5.490 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=9.000, 0.000, 210.000
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.000, -0.250, -15.470 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=9.000, 0.000, 310.000
If there are no lines with the WINDOWS lines you see above, copy these and paste them into the bottom of the [Views] section of the DC-4 panel.cfg file.
If you mean instead an actual visual feature of the aircraft, that is probably built into the model itself and cannot be changed.
Hope this helps,

Hello!
Since this thread is about the DC-6, I´ll post here instead of opening anew one. I have two questions regarding the CalClassic FS2004 DC6:
1. I noticed that there is no taxi light. There is a switch for a taxi light on the Overhead Panel (the one with the fuel gauges), but when I try to turn it on it always flips back to the Off Position. Is there a way to activate this switch?
2. A very minor thing I saw the other day on the DC-6B with the old UAL colors: The pilot figures in the cockpit are not textured, just white. This can only be seen by zooming very close, so it is really no problem, I´m just curious what is missing. All the other DC-6s have those textures, it is only the DC-6B with the old colors of United that doesn´t. I looked into the texture folder, but couldn´t find anything missing..
Both of these are only very small things, if they cannot be changed, no problem. Thanks for the great airplanes, I really enjoy flying them in the Sim!

Hi,
1. The DC's had no taxi light. You use the landing lights to taxi at night. I don't know why Ken Mitchell (the panel's original author) included the taxi switch there.
2. As far as I can tell, the faces and uniform appear to be on the right aft texture. Perhaps they are missing from that livery inside that texture?
Glad you're enjoying them,

Hello Tom!
Thank you for the information! I didn´t know the DC-6 had no taxi lights, and was a little confused by this switch. And as I said before, the missing texture is no problem. I only noticed it after already having flown the plane with this particular paint for some time..

If you mean the slow prop startup that is probably possible. Check the slow prop text file in case it has details; I'm not at my FS computer now so any further help from me would need to be next week.
