Chesley Sullenberger started his airline career with PSA (certainly the best airline I ever dealt with in 37 years of ATC) in California which was taken over by US Air. I was working early one morning the day they substituted USAir for PSA over the radio and the pilot (who was not atypical) said that he was going to make his own phoenetic for his "new" boss by identifying as "PUAir".

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7834499.stmThe Simflight was a good idea by the BBC but the comparison with the Ethiopian airliner crash landing was just crass. Ditching on water is one thing, doing it during a hijacking is a different ballgame entirely and it was grossly unfair of the BBC to suggest an equivalence. No disrespect to the US Air flight crew but several crews have put down jets successfully on the water and very possibly the Ethiopians would have too, if it had been some other reason they had to ditch than having been involved in a hijack. Either way, it makes that watch advertisement look pretty dumb, doesn't it? Best and Warm Regards Adrian Wainer
