Hiii folks I downloaded the fantastic Boeing 307 stratoliner from Jens Kristensen, and the panel from Glenn Duncan. Perhaps this panel is the finest and most fantastic for the Straty. But there's a problem, if you use Glenn Duncan FDE upgrade for his panel, when you fly it, the tail wheel doesn't retract. I was reading the contact points on aircraft.cfg and i noticed that the retraction time was missing. I belive that 4 seconds was near the real thing. So if you want the tail wheel to retract, replace this line on [contact_points] point.0=1.00,-39.67,0.0,-2.40,1564.61,0.00,1.02,90.00,0.43,2.50,0.54,4.00,0.00,0.00,0.00,0.0 //tailwheel See... ;D ready to take off... Cheers... Best regards Luis

Hi, Luis...
You're quite right about the tailwheel problem in the original upload.
I put out an update shortly after the original release (always embarrassing, that) to correct the tailwheel, add a missing Radio Range 4 control box, update documents, and enable ADF2 display, if desired. There are also FS9 and FSNav flight plans using the Radio Range airways for TWA's transcontinental NY-LA service with three stops and PAA or ATC non-stop New York - Miami. You can select which changes you want to install.
The update is available at AvSim. Use the extended search function to locate 307updte.zip or search for my name.
Sorry about the tailwheel glitch, but many thanks for your kind words about the panel and FDE.
Cheers,
Glenn

Thanks Glenn, you welcome!!! ;D Don't worry, it's not embarrassing at all! You made a fantastic work with that, and above all... for free. And because it's free you made it with love and care. I'm an engineer, and after a hard day of work, after dinner, there's nothing in the world that makes me gain my day then flying these fantastic machines of the past that you and other friend like Tom Gibson, Manfred Jahn, Jens B. Kristensen and many others just to name a few have created. Long live them... and the flight sim community. Best regards. Luis
