I was installing the Ken Mitchell in Jens' new DC-6s and it appears that it isn't totally compatible with the new models. For one, the MAP gauge doesn't indicate correctly. Is this just me, or has anyone else found the same thing.

Hi Dutch,
I tried using Ken Mitchell's panel in Jen's latest version of his DC-6 and it crashes to desk top. Jen's earlier version and Mitchell's panel worked fine for me. I had to return to the original panel that came with Jen's earlier DC-6 version.

I'm not strongly opposed to using Jens' panel, it's just that I have used Ken Mitchell's panel so much that I'm comfortable with it. Thanks for your reply, I thought it might have been something I did.

Surely the answer then is to copy the FDEs across as well as the panel, adjusting the Contacts Points, Lights and Views sections back from Jens' FDEs?

I have had no problem in FS9 I just followed the instructions given in the readme. They work fine. I also used HEX editor to remove the VC so I could use the internal views. No CTDs so far.

OK, I have to admit a mistake on my part. After simondix' post, I thought I must have done something wrong, so I went back and read the read me file and realized that I hadn't done the changes to the propeller section. I had done the changes from memory from older versions of the panel and didn't realize that you had to make those changes. Once again, it always pays to follow instructions, sorry for the bother.
