Lane, if I read your post correctly you are running the modern AI and the classic AI. There's nothing at all wrong with doing this, you will simply have modern aircraft and classics flying along together. I build all sorts of custom AI packs and run them all in unison to no detriment. Most of the reason for breaking them up into different packs is it makes them easier to work on and easier to change your AI world.

Hi,
You can have any combination of the scenery layers checked that you prefer. If you want modern aircraft flying along with your propliners, that's fine. I know a few people that want even more AI aircraft than is present in 1962 and they run both the 1959 and 1962 traffic together - that must get crowded at big airports!

Don't forget Lane you can alter the percentage of ai you have showing too with the sliders.

Thank's guys for all your info and answers. I found a key combination on fs9 that i never knew existed all these years flying MS flight sims. In the spot plane window hit the Ctrl-W keys and watch all the AI planes. Some are parked and some flying. Real neat. Installed the ArkLaMiss Scenery Last night Looks great. All kinds AI Traffic Set for 62. Props, Jets and GA Planes. Have a good one Lane1

Lane, if you like watching ai, download Traffic Veiw Board, you can follow the flight all the way plus listen the air traffic comms.

Hi Lane, .PDF is the Adobe equivilant of Micro$oft Office Word. You can get the "reader" free for both. Adobe Acrobat, the free reader, can be found here: get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGOA lot of developers are using this format for documentation and instructions for their models and manuals. It's a "must have" software...if you read the manuals. Adobe (Apple) is one of the most reliable and dependable "office" products out there..and very intuitive...but the version of Acrobat to make a pdf file does run a small fortune....like "Acrobat or a new motherboard?" My only problem with Word and Acrobat is that neither can be opened in the aircraft Kneeboard for quick reference. I have to go back and copy the text, but it in a .htm or .txt format so it's available IN FS. Oh, well.

Also there is Foxit, also a free reader and less than half the size of Acrobat: www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/Lane, when you get TVB working here is a little tip I forgot to mention, sometimes and I repeat sometimes if you view the aircraft from start up at the gate it can start the engines then move off then stop, you need to go in slew mode by pressing the 'Y' key then move your joystick and the aircraft will continue to move, but what I do is view it once it is on the runway then you don't get that problem.

That is because TVB is seen from FS as an invisible plane on the ground. If this " invisible plane" of sort gets in the way of the taxiing AI planes, these stop no differently than what it would happen if you put the default Cessna on their path. Slewing the invisible presence of TVB away from the taxi path allows the AI plane to continue on.
