Hi all, The title says it all really. Is there an accurate cfg out there for the default FS2004 DC-3 that has load bays instead of passenger rows?

Hi, I don't know of anything very accurate for the "default" DC-3, cargo or otherwise, but the Mid Atlantic Air Museum ( MAAM.org ) has an R4D-6 package out there that has exactly what your looking for. ;D Here's the weight and balance load section from their model: station_load.0 = "170.0, 11.0, -2.0, 0.0, Pilot" //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position station_load.1 = "170.0, 11.0, 2.0, 0.0, Co-Pilot" station_load.2 = "405.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, Oil" //Do not remove - essential for operation! station_load.3 = "1000.0, 2.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 1" station_load.4 = "900.0, -6.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 2" station_load.5 = "800.0, -14.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 3" station_load.6 = "700.0, -22.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 4" station_load.7 = "500.0, 4.0, 0.0, 0.0, Forward Baggage" station_load.8 = "200.0, -30.0, 0.0, 0.0, Aft Baggage" Remember, that's NOT made for the default DC-3. I haven't tried just pasting in the default model to see if it works, but these numbers are correct. Just to hazard a guess, if you paste this in the un-modified default .cfg file, the default model probably won't get off the ground. Maybe some of Trev Morson and Mark Beaumont's work over at www.DC3Airways.com might help you. They've made a lot of panel, weight and balance and .airfile adjustments to try to correct the problems with that default plane. It really was a shame. Whoever built the ".mdl" of the default model did a nice job. It just can't fly very well. Yours,

Thanks, Randy. I've just roughed out a weight and balance section for the default using info from the MAAM loadout and some Real world C-47 loadsheet data. But no time now to test it (ie see if it sits on the runway without flipping over dirty side up). Will report back on progress!
