Hi all,
I've converted the FS2004 DC-7 models to FSX native and created a separate FSX/P3D Base Pack. It's on my DC-7 page. The DC-7 panel is now P3D compatible, except for superchargers.
If you see any problems let me know here.
Enjoy,

Do you have a folder called texture.paa in the FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/DC-7C folder?

Are you using the DXT10 Preview? My planes will sometimes not display their textures in that case.

Ahhh yes. regurgitating Microsoft Vista days........ In the FSX.cfg I changed the entry D3D10=1
TO D3D10=0 and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you, Tom.

Glad to help. There is a fix package for many of the DXT10 Preview faults, and I think (?) that is one of them. It's called Steve's DXFixer and it comes in free and pay versions. I don't know if this fix is in the free version or not. I don't use the DXT10 Preview myself.

Yes, I have had and used Steve's Fixer a long time ago with FSX but for more than 10 years no reason to use it -- that would have been pre-Steam. That was on my list to try if your suggestion did not help. I'll have to see if I can get the super connie to display now.
