Aviameer flight 12 is a Vickers Viking 1B on a flight from London to Glasgow (EGLL – EGRF). We have 450 gallons of fuel on board for the 300 nm flight of about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Good weather with light cloud cover above 8,000 feet is forecast for the entire flight. We will be cruising at an altitude of 6,000 feet. Aviameer was a Belgian charter airline that operated this one aircraft from May 1957 to July 1960. Based in Antwerp, it provided services to the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Spain.
