Hi In P3Dv4.5 I fly the A2A Constellation L049. I have my issues with the model but that's not what this is about.
Yesterday I read on one of the flight-sim newsletters that A2A have published a little update to this model and I was keen to download and install it. today I tried to log-in to the A2A forums to read what it was all about but I got a pop-up saying that my password is incorrect. It wasn't, because I had made a note of it last time but anyway, I requested a new password which duly arrived in my mailbox a couple of minutes later.
I then tried to log in again with the new password but was now presented with a CAPTCHA request. It's very simple so I did it. I still couldn't log in on the forums but I now got a pop-up saying that if one had log-in problems one should click on the link to contact the Board Admnistrator. This I did. And guess what? I got another pop-up saying: "The board administrator contact page has been disabled." Aaaargh! Surely they haven't deleted my forum membership? I pop in there once a month or so, so that shouldn't be it?
I then tried to log-in to the A2A Shop to simply get the download without getting the details in the forum. For the shop you need different log-in credentials and guess what? They also didn't work.
I think you know how I felt.
regards Thomas

You don't need to download anything from the website. You should be able to just run the L-049 updater from the A2A folder and it will download the update.

Thanks, I'll try that. You don't need to download anything from the website. You should be able to just run the L-049 updater from the A2A folder and it will download the update.
