This amazing skier is a steerable object and part of Bill Lyons' Classic Sportsman Package. For example it could drive down the hills to Aspen below. Maybe like Howard Head a couple of decades ago. Just as quick reminder, Howard Head was an aircraft engineer for Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, and went skiing for the first time in 1947. He was frustrated with the quality of the clumsy and heavy wooden skis, which made skiing very difficult for beginners. He decided to develop a lighter and more efficient ski that could make skiing much easier for everyone. Howard Head left his job and devoted all his time and energy to developing the skis and supported himself with earnings from poker. In 1950 he founded the Head Ski Company, which became very successful. It isn`t known whether Head, whenever, took the plane to reach the top of the hill like this skier. BTW, I was myself involved with Head ski an tennis beginning the 80`s as sales manager for Switzerland. Unfortunately I never could met Howard Head himself. Howsoever, in a way with skis and classic aircraft, like the Martin 4-0-4, the circle closes for me. Bernard

Now, the next step is to head off to the late Garry Smith's Ford Tri-Motor Project and download the scenery, one of which has ramps, so, you can ski down the mountain, and hit the slopes... Great fun..
