Very nice, Dave. That is one non-sked I had not heard of. Where were they based? I'm surprised I didn't see any of them at Travis on charter work

Hi Dave,
As I understand it California Eastern in later years started leasing out most of their planes. For example, the plane you painted:
Delivered to CEA 4.57 Leased to Hughes Tool Co. 12/57 Leased to TWA 1/58 Leased to World Airways 1/61 Leased to Slick Airways 9/63 Leased to Airlift International 7/66 Sold to Charlotte Aircraft Corp. 7/68
Most leases were through Dynalectron Corp, which usually had the plane for a month or two between leases. After the initial delivery CEA is never mentioned again, although I assume they had some tie with Dynalectron. But I also assume it never made it back into CEA colors after 1957...
