I'm hoping someone may help me diagnose an issue with the California Classics (CalClassics) Electra L-188 aircrafts.
I'm running FS9 on an M1 MacBook Pro using Parallels 19 to create the virtual Windows 11 environment; Parallels 19 allocates up to 32GB of RAM and unto 16GB for graphics, so I don't believe there is a memory or CPU issue with this Windows 11 environment. I'm also running FS9 in (Parallels) Full Screen mode
FS2004 was installed/activated using the original DVD's. That install was upgraded to 9.1, and subsequently the no-cd crack update was also applied. I have been able to successfully run FS2004 in this environment, except for the L-188 aircraft from CalClassics. However, Mike Stone's version of the L-188 does successfully run in virtual FS2004.
Procedurally these are the series of steps followed for installing the CalClassics models.
I've downloaded the CalClassics L188 zip file, l188_calclassic2.zip; expanded it on the Windows 11 Desktop; ran the Setup executable.
It found the FS2004 subdirectory (C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9) and it created six aircraft subfolders: L188A Electra CB; L188A Electra JL; L188A Electra LG; L188C Electra CB; L188C Electra JL; and, L188C Electra LG.
I then went and installed the freeware Lucariny model from library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004acrp&DLID=84710, eleii(1).zip.
[Note: The other web address given in the install instructions does not come up in either the Safari browser or the Windows Edge browser.]
eleii(1).zip was then unzipped onto the desktop; the EleII\model\EleIIVG.mdl files were copied to both the L188A Electra JL and the L188C Electra JL to the model sub-directories. Note on install, the only file within these model sub-directories was a *.cfg file
Subsequently, I downloaded the CV-580 Base Pack; unzipped it on the Windows Desktop; copied the sound files into each of the above, sound, sub-directories, and over wrote the existing sound.cfg file.
When I go the launch FS9, the six Electra models are found and displayed as aircraft choices.
When I select one of these L188 - Note all models behave the same way, and, when I go to start the flight, the "Load Scenery Objects" splash screen appears, starting with 0%; a few moments later FS9 exits - quits running.
When I launch Mike Stone's L188 version to fly, or any of the other FS default aircraft, the Load Scenery Objects splash screen appears, a horizontal bar increasing from 0% appears, and in a few moments later, I'm off flying that aircraft model. Hence, I believe I may be experiencing an installation issue unique to the CalClassics aircraft.
I might also add that years ago, when FS2004 first came out, I was able to install the CalClassics L188s and they ran successfully.
Any thoughts on how I may be able to get the CalClassics Electras running in virtual FS9?
In advance, I'm grateful for your assistance.

P.S. In the mid-sixties, I used to fly Northwest Electras from KMSP (Minneapolis St. Paul) to KGEG (Geiger Field, Spokane); based on timetables from that era, I have been able to construct a "nostalgic fight route" - VOR to VOR and NDB, for some of these trips; also those flights did make a number of stops within Montana before arriving in Spokane. As I recall, from years ago, the CalClassic representation of the Electras were some of the best sim models.
