Wow !! That is one awesome repaint Looks absolutely fantastic. I remember this livery well and saw it often when landing on Schiphol. Cheers, Jaap Hello Jaap, yes I would like to do a Schiphol/Stansted flight.....any tips on which gate an AirUK Fokker F27 would use at EHAM please?

The Fokker usually had landing lights in the leading edge of the wing, while the Fairchild version had the retractable landing lights.

Tom, it looks like that specific aircraft had underwing lights. Since it's been preserved at Norwich, it's pretty easy to find good pics of it - Indeed. I took these pics myself.

Yes, I've seen a few too. Probably either an option, or a post production modification.

Looks to me like a post-build mod as you can see by Ed's picture that there is a decided "bump" out in the leading edge where the light is installed, indicative of a patch panel that was laid over top of the original structure. Had it been a factory install, the wing would have been smooth.

Hi Ed, and others I remapped the two air scoops on the rear of the F27 fuselage and gave them a new spot on the texture map. Model is exported again (F27-200FP) and can be downloaded here: www.mediafire.com/?mtp5v8j17ej0vxlAnd the modified texture map (Fuslg_t.bmp) showing the new scoop positions can be downloaded here: www.mediafire.com/i/?z9s6le6e79bncpeHope this solves the texture issues of the scoops. Regards, Jaap

Hello Tom and Jaap, Just one more modelling question for you guys. ;D The landing/taxi lights .... It appears that only the taxi light switch provides light on the runway. (looks like the landing lights). It is not really a big deal but the landing lights switch does nothing (no light on the runway). Can anything be done about this?

Thought I'd have a go at a F27 too This is the PH-SAB of Schreiner Airways, a Dutch Charter that was founded in 1945 by Bob Schreiner. In 1964 three F27 Friendships were added to their fleet. By spraycan at 2011-12-06 By spraycan at 2011-12-06 By spraycan at 2011-12-06 By spraycan at 2011-12-06

Awesome paint Jaap, it looks great.
For those who have download the Fokker F27 paints on my website, they have been updated to accommodate the texture changes for the air scoops.

I was wondering if anyone had the texture files for the Mohawk, Northeast and Piedmont FH-227? If so can you please send a PM.

Tom, It appears that Franks paints are lost forever? I see his posts are off these threads too, what a shame. hope things go ok for him. I really wanted that Mohawk paint and the NE birds. I'll probably get to those at some point. As soon as I rebuild my computer I'll be uploading my repaints to avsim, hopefully fairly soon. Allegheny F-27 and the Delta 227.
