As the name suggests I have uploaded to Flightsim.com (the filename has no spaces there) and to Avsim (they understand spaces the military versions of the panels and gauges released recently for the B377. Some of the issues already relayed back have been addressed. The oil pressure gauge now stops at 0, the barber pole behaves correctly in the 2d and vc, and the views have been corrected. And the BMEP gauges now speak only of Torque Aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files included for C97, KC97E and KC97G, plus the usual "Start Here" instructions and an Operator's Manual. Please follow the installation steps very carefully. Not suitable for FSX. Enjoy, Bruce aka Strat

Thanks, Bruce. I'm on the way now to get the retrofit kit for 92607 and put her in the maintenance hangar for a couple of weeks. Since I don't fly the commercial versions I didn't want to use disk space to download the panels for them. I was waiting for this one.

Got them Bruce and have retrofitted my military Strats as per the documentation you provided. No issues, all seems to work as designed and thank you very much for all your hard work.
Now that the Strats, Connies, Douglas's and the Twin's have had makeovers, the only problem left is what to fly! Best Regards.

Bruce i sent you an email, but this new 2D panel is the BOMB. one thing I did for my personal bird, was repaint the bird cage window frames chromate green. I have pics that indicate that is accurate, and Jesses shots also show this is right at least for some aircraft.
Also, where is the pedestal? I want to change the prop RPM but havent figured out how to do it.
Also has anybody noticed a frame rate hit with this panel? I seem to be getting some stutters now that I didnt get before.
anyway, this bird ROCKS now. I tweaked the night lighting slightly and now really love to fly at night.
Question for JESSE: Back in the day, were gauges backlit?

Yes, Eric. The gauges all had a set of small type 328 28volt lamp that was set into the gauge housing.

I accidentally hit shift + 6 and got the flight engineer panel. Any idea why? when I repeated it, it would not go off. This is on the new C97 panel.

I followed installation instructions to the letter, or think I have, but the aircraft does not appear on the list. Its OK when I revert to pre-mod state. I see others have installed OK, so I guess it must be me. I`ll keep on playing, I can`t have a machine beating me!! Rubbish

Sorry, forgot. After I d/loaded c97kc97panelset.zip from flightsim.com, nowhere could I find the vc_textures folder thats mentioned in the instructions. I`ve re downloaded it, but still no joy. I`ve been playing with it for some hours trying to get it installed OK, so off to bed now. Rubbish

Be sure to check the panel folder, it should read "panel.kc97e" (without quotes). The subfolder in my download read: "kc97e". All of the .bmps are in the subfolder.

Thank you all for replies. I have tried everything i can think of, but I just cannot get the C-97 with the new panel to show up on the list under Boeing. I have compared the original cfg file with the new one, all the info is there, subject to the alterations as per the new panel instructions. I have all the files as shown in the example on page 5, I`m certainly not missing anything. I have just reinstalled the original, unmodded C97, and there it is as normal, under Boeing. So I`ll stick with the C97 with the old panel for now. I assume other people have the modded C97 showing up with no problem. Thanks again, anyway.

In my download there was a second folder inside the panel folder that contained what I needed. I renamed that folder "panel.c97" (without the quotes), and moved it to the main folder. It works and looks fine. Be sure to have your aircraft .cfg to read "panel=c97" (without the quotes).

.....So I`ll stick with the C97 with the old panel for now.... Don't give up now..... ;D I'm sure we can help you get it up and running. Similar to what pung said, with the KC-97e I had to adjust the following lines to match the exact folder names within the aircraft's directory: model= (this should match your model folder's name) panel= (this should match your panel folder's name) texture= (note: if you only have one texture folder named "texture", you don't have to add anything after the = sign; just leave it blank) Regards, Tommy P.S. post the [flightsim.x] portion of your aircraft.cfg file; that might help us help you.

You might also be advised that the aircraft .cfg has versions and textures different than yours. I do not use the new .cfg, but I do use the performance part of it. That would cause an aircraft not to show up.
