Try this .... In the Title line ..... title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation Change to this .... title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation Air France Each Title has to be slightly different for it to show. I've been caught before Pete.

And I would suggest shorter titles (like Lockheed L-1649A Air France) so they will fit on the Notepad.

OK, so far so good. I'm not deliberately trying to be dense here, but if I understand it right, there are two versions of a "dirty" nacelle running around for the Starliners; I can't seem to find either of them. References to them, yes. Actual files, no.

Hello, All; Getting back to what's really important: Any word(s) on progress for the Final Version of the FD file and on the VC Panel? Some of us are getting old and would love to enjoy these before we do our last Yellow Sheet. Regards, qar02

This
[fltsim.1] title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation
and this
[fltsim.2] title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation

Chris, On the Starliner repaints page 2 is a comparison shot. Here is the link to get the nacelles textures only (Bill Tynes version) updated for TWA 1957 and TWA Cargo 1962 only. You have to have the original paint by me and overwrite with these. You can email me for the complete file for Bills or Marvins (lighter exhaust stains) texture. Thunder... "Old" is basically any age where the wait for Christmas Morning is enough to drive one crazy. Some of us will never be in the left seat again...circumstances of life...so the Flightsimming World does provide the next best. The Starliner Project package is just sitting there, under the tree, and ...it's like Mom saying we have to wait now until Aunt B' and Uncle A' get here...pure hell... qar02

Use: [fltsim.x] title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, <airline name> Example: [fltsim.x] title=Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Air France

Here's a brief pictorial progress report: Although not yet in their proper locations, we have a moving steering wheel, an autopilot box embedded in the glareshield, clickable sunshades, aileron and rudder knobs, the overhead avionics box and the OH switches and ignition panel. Yet to (re)do, more panels, the F.E. station, the main junction box, and the radio op's stack. So, Version 2 is taking shape, but it's still a way off. Best, Manfred

For FSX users only - custom propdisk texture temporarily available from here: home.arcor.de/edug/propdisk.bmpLooking like this ... ... but comes with the usual (unavaoidable?) problem, ie is blocked out by autogen clouds. And another problem shown below: the blurred prop disc casts a nasty solid shadow. Is that a setting issue or what? Manfred

Manfred...
Depending on Sun Angle...the pic seems to show the Sun high in the sky...your rotating blades would present a nearly solid disk...if the Sun were lower in the sky maybe there would be more transparency?
