Hi all. I have the 90% of the project made, on the last weeks I have been making little changes, deleting/placing library objects, AFCAD adjustments, some flattens, andtexture changes....on the beginning there were just 11 airports planned...but, while I continued my investigation and source of information and photos, the count growed up to more than 30... Only one airport is pending, yes, ..... Dallas Love Field, just the AFCAD layout is ready ..but I have just a little advance over the terminal...and have no estimate yet still working on it.

Nice work Juan. Your buildings are making a dramatic improvement to the scenery. And yes Tom "Love" is great. It will be nice to have all these Texas fields redone in our time. I'm guessing I will be doing whole lot more Braniff flying again escpecially with these new South American airports of Juans.
Hey Juan - as the old saying goes, the last 20% of the project usually takes 80% of the time. Hell of a project you have taken on, really looking forward to it.

Hi Al Yes, that 20% is the most difficult, just because you have to check and re-check that everything is on it´s right place.... and not a hell of a project at all!!...believe me...at least there is material on the web to work with....just have to know how to source for it..... I have another in the timeline that it´s even worst and has caused me real headaches...

Great seeing all the LUV given to my hometown airport. My first memories were post-DFW in 1985 or so when I made my first trip to Hobby from LUV on the LUVLines to see my grandfather during the summer. However, I've studied a lot of history and had hoped to get one of the Terminal 1 gate signs when they tore it down last year, but I unfortunately wasn't able to haggle a deal. Even after all those years out of service, almost all of the gate signs from when it was Braniff's pier were still there.
LUV now looks totally different as they finally are moving out of the 1960's and into the 2010's with a modern terminal that fits its new post-Wright Ammemdment role in the DFW area.

Thanks for the good comments Al.....
I really hope the classic community enjoys it after released....
as an UPDATE, I have to announce that the airport count has increased again...I don't know how much......while some research, I have noticed that Netr Historic Aerials web page has added a lot of aerial pics and topographic maps from 1950's and 1960's.
I discovered a lot of airports with mora than 2 active runways on those years, so I'll be backdating them...
