My condolences to Greg's family, and all of his friends, and on my part, like Jessie, because him I have my beloved DC-6B and Convair 240 still flying in WAL colors. Fair winds Greg!

Terribly sorry to hear that, Tom. A strange thing, in this community, is we may never meet each other, but after a while we begin to "know", value and respect each other. Greg has been such a person as far back as I can think in FS. The other strange thing is our community's memorials to our "fallen", which are often some favourite addon we load without thinking, and suddenly find a lump in the throat when we realise who created it. My thoughts are with those much closer to him, feeling the loss of someone who was a major part of their lives.

That is very sad news, Tom.
My condolences to Greg's family and to you and the others who knew him well. I'm quite sure that we who never met him personally missed a rare experience.

By the way they decide to use their ingenuity and generosity, freeware designers can put smiles on the faces and joy in the spirits of complete strangers all around the world. Not many people can ever claim such an accomplishment. From one of the many beneficiaries far away, to those closest to Greg, heartfelt condolences.
How long has it been since that G-Max Stratocruiser came out? Five years or more? Two days back, I simulated a flight with it for the first time in a while, enjoyed it thoroughly, and found myself zooming in on it as it sat in the autumn sunshine in New York, marvelling at the craftsmanship of the engine nacelles and especially those exhaust pipes. What a work of art. I'll be thinking of Greg for a long time...

Very sad news indeed. I exchanged a couple of e-mails some years back and remember him as a warm, friendly and very helpful person. Like many here, his work has given me many hours of enjoyment, so I will think of him when I fly his many creations.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Thanks for sharing the sad news, Tom. Otherwise I would not have known. Condolences... I remember flying his CV-580, among others, early in my flight sim days. He will be missed... Roy

To Greg's Family, & Tom, My Prayers & Thoughts are with You, at this time of Loss. I ask The Good Lord, that He grant Him Peace & the Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. I Like many others here owe a great deal to Greg. It is quite apparent to most here that I spend almost 90% of my time in one of Greg's Convair's, as being just nuts about "Herman". I had exchanged a few e-mails with him too, and found him just the wonderful guy he appeared to be. It speaks volumes that Him & Tom were such good friends, as they are the "Salt of the Earth" and willing to give the shirt off their back. Although I won't be near my computer for the next 10 days, as tomorrow after work I am flying back to see my Bro. I will be thinking a lot about Greg, as I fly back to "Herman's" stomping grounds, and Thanking the Man who lets me fly the virtual skies of my youth, so very much. Godspeed Greg.... & May Your Skies be Clear & Smooth! Stefan
