On Num-6/4 panel conflicts - Mike, I can't replicate that here. Surely the 2D FE panel has no business to be there at all? Could it be present from having been being invoked earlier, as a layer so to speak? On the main VC panel simicons table, what does #8 indicate, 2D views enabled or disabled? Normally disabled. Whichever it is, toggle and try again?
Just a stab in the dark admittedly.

I see that some of the members are having problems keeping all engines running, acutally it was a common problem and at one point the Navy tried their hand at fixing it............

Probably nothing. Give them more time, they move real slow.

Be careful that you don't somehow give a quick flaps up command after the "flaps60" call. Due to wav file timing issues, you won't hear a call and you may be deceived that your flaps are still down. I don't know how this might happen, but it's something to watch for. BTW, you are always supposed to confirm your flaps position on the panel gauge after each extension.

I think we had that with the starliner and it was a case of changing one of the entries in the air file or something of that ilk...
Hope this helps

P. S. Out of curiosity, I have seen some Iberia repaints in the net, can't remember where, whoever did it was faster than me (curses!!! ;D Just joking) very good job!!! but I think there is still one livery left

Hi Manfred,
It wasn't the 2D FE panel, it was the pilots 2D panel I had 2 pilot views over the top of each other.
Anyway, the problem appears to be solved. I've just tried again, ensuring that simicon 8 shows 2D views disabled, and that appears to have solved the problem. Thanks for your help again, Manfred. I wasn't sure what that simicon was for, and I haven't found anything in the documentation.
Cheers, Mike.

One guess is that you have crash detection turned on and you are trying to deploy them at too high a speed? If you have crash detection turned on they will not work unless you are below 210 KIAS (damaging speed) or 230 KIAS (blowout speed).
Another possibility is that your FS is interpreting the 0.0 flap speeds after each flap setting in the cfg file as "do not allow these flaps to deploy until slowed to 0 KIAS". That's not supposed to happen, but I am grasping at straws here. Can you deploy the flaps while taxiing at 20-30 KIAS on the ground?
Finally, you might have ruined your hydraulic system, which would inactivate the flaps. You might be able to check that in the status panel? Right click the checkmark icon on the panel.
Hope this helps,

James, center console placard says max 60 percent flaps speed is 190. Another great repaint, Tim. Tigerlily, the mil models aren't released yet, but they will be coming in quick succession (perhaps weekly intervals) once the H is out (any day now) ... C-121C, R7V-1, EC-121R, VC-121E not to mention the WV-2 family, but they will come last. Here's the very first C-121C, others are in the pipeline:
