He's talking about the dorsal fin. It has a dark shadow on it, which is not on the fuselage and tail.

A screenshot would be 50000000% more helpful than "that dorsal fin there with the dark shadow", guys. Also, what model are you talking about?

Okay. Well, that's due to the incredible amount of randomly oriented polygons I either got from the FSDS -> 3ds Max conversion process or from FSDS itself (don't know if it actually cares about polygon orientation).
No guarantees that I can fix it.
- E:
Got it fixed.
- E²:
Funky, the FH-227 was okay all along.

No, the FH-227 needed to be fixed as well, you fixed the shadow on all of the dorsal fins except the FH-227

Haha, Bjoern, take the positive outa this experience. If your model will pass the CalClassic quality check you'r shure could sell it! Bernie

I'd rather chop off both my hands than sell it. Because if there's money involved I'll HAVE to listen to whatever people find wrong with the model.

Someone should post a screenshot showing the original Mike Stone model compared to this updated version by Bjoern, Tom, and Bernie to show how far the F-27/FH-227 has come, yes, It now surely passes the CC quality check, I've seen payware that isn't this good, absolutely awesome job guys, very much appreciated.

TuFun over at SOH is working on new master textures for the F-27A/Mk200. Native 2048 px for FSX, will lose details if shrunk to FS9-acceptable 1024px ones. ETA: 500 years. At least.
