Hi all, First, I'd like to warn people about using these charts in FS for actual navigation. The first three paragraphs of this post explains the problem: calclassic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fsaviator&action=display&thread=11With that out of the way: Thanks to Chic Eather's charts and John Hewson's scanning, I now have a growing collection of classic era (1960) approach charts for many of the airports around the world. Chic was a Cathay Pacific pilot for many years, and amassed quite a collection of charts, etc. www.chingchic.com/about.htmHere is the list of Albums I have added to Imgur, all containing various number of charts and airport diagrams (great for scenery building). I would stay with the old interface as long as possible. Europe Charts - imgur.com/gallery/DgsZ2TjAsia Charts - imgur.com/gallery/daSjN1CCalifornia Charts - imgur.com/gallery/Cz0DBTjJapan Charts - imgur.com/gallery/IjwJBSGOceania Charts (Australia, NZ, etc.) - imgur.com/gallery/tIg2AB3Pacific Island Charts (Hawaii, etc.) - imgur.com/gallery/YBhAMOUUS East Charts - imgur.com/gallery/40dozsRUS Central Charts - imgur.com/gallery/N7nUzsgUS West Charts - imgur.com/gallery/I42bNBHNorth American Charts (Canada and Mexico) - imgur.com/gallery/Cgu9iXAI also have a Miscellaneous Album, containing various charts and maps for propliner flying - things like radio range and airways maps, MATS routes, etc. - imgur.com/gallery/6JRvppDEnjoy,

Hi,
Other than the charts of Chic's from 1960, the collections currently also includes a set of Chicago Midway charts from 1950 from Alan Courtney, and a set from Kunming China from the 1940's, also from Chic and John.
If anyone has any others they want to add to the collection just send the scans to me - tgibson at sunstroke dot sdsu dot edu
Thanks,

Thank you so much!
The 1940's Kunming chart has special meaning for me, my father was flying from there in 1945.
That one is no longer there to find, with posr-war development. I have been to see the WW2 strip at Lijiang, it stayed in use for most of the 20th century, and in 2003 the dirt runway was still being used by a local driving school.

Glad to help. I have just started a new album, US East Charts. It will include all charts east of the Center US charts. s784.photobucket.com/albums/yy125/CalClassic/US%20East%20Charts/I have just purchased a 1958/59 Jeppesen charts book, including all airport approach charts east of the Mississippi river (including Canada). If anyone is interested in seeing specific scans from the book, just let me know. I have uploaded Miami and Idlewild charts from the book into the US East album (above). It also has a smattering of airport diagrams in other parts of the US and Canada. Hope this helps,

Tom,
Thanks for all that, particularly Idlewild. Need to spend some time adding the various beacons to the AFCAD/ADE's.
Interesting to see that approach lighting was limited to the main instrument runways, just 4/22 in the case of KIDL. Also the surprisingly low minimums.
Look forward to seeing more and thanks also to Chic and John. Of course we already have Chic's great Kai Tak charts with the 1963 scenery.
