Hi All. Don't want to say it's all done but, the real thing is that the advance is at least 99%!.....so I proudly present this beta testing file so all you simmers can have an early look. www.mediafire.com/download/vnxejfs4xe38gtz/Texas_1962_Beta_11-08-2013.zipI have included an excel "airport master list" with all the airport codes and names....you are totally free to make any comments or suggestions here for any inconsistences found on the scenery!..... by "inconsistensces" I mean: bad flattens, missing exclusions, bad landclass, etc..... Just some quick suggestions before you "move anything" -> This scenery was developed on a pure default FS2004 mesh, it hasn't been tested or adjusted to match any payware or freeware mesh addon.... -> Please read carefully the scenery readme file for additional object libraries and not required sceneries. -> I have included a folder with repaints for *optional* military AI aircraft...please read the document carefully, see the wide variety of aircraft and make your best decision. Have an excellent weekend! Juan Martinez

Hi Juan,
Thanks for sharing beta version with us. After all the exciting screenies shown I'am very curious to enjoy your scenery in my system. I really could lean back during the weekend - I just finished to found and collect all base aircraft needed with your traffic's. Not quite easy, you might agree. Besides two or three models I had to download from Avsim, the rest was already in my aircraft folder. Now I will rename them and add the textures furnished. Fortunately it isn't the first time I complete AI packages.
Cheers, Bernard

Hi,
First report. In the text file you say to click on the Illinois Airports folder in the Scenery Library. That should be the Texas 1962 folder.
Hope this helps,

Hi again,
I would include a copy of the text file and the airport list inside the Texas 1962 folder, so they are always there for reference after installation.
Hope this helps,

Ohh, a reason to fire up my back-dated FS9! Great! Downloaded, installed, and will be testing shortly. Great news, Texas is one area I've definitely been waiting to be "fully covered"!

Hi,
As I had some autogen trees and bushes issues at two or three airports I checked all remaining airfields. It took me three hours to visit all of them! Juan and all which contributed to this excellent scenery did an enormous work. All airports are full of objects and hopefully nice planes! A great thank again, Juan!
Cheers, Bernard

Hi,
I tried it, I like it, very good. No problems found so far. Even with my own (already installed before Texas 1962) heavy military ai flight plans the sceneries work fine. Thank you very much - another gap filled.
Cheers
Kalle

Great work! The only thing that jumps out at me is in the Houston area. The texture for the concrete in the refinery and industrial areas seems to stand out of the surrounding area a little too much.Is there a way to subdue that a bit? Aside from that.....perfect Stan

Made a "quick" flight from Love to Waco to Austin Mueller. Looks good so far. Only thing I noted, and it may be something on my end, is that both Bergstrom and Mueller both had large "blue" effects floating just above the surface on the grass areas (almost like a ground fog) until I got closer to them, I couldn't tell if it was a rogue ground light effect or what, but as soon as I got within a mile or two of the airports, it went away.

Hi! Thanks for the comments people...seems you are still busy checking the airports.....please feel free to continue posting your reviews here or drop me a PM.....I´m taking note of all the issues and fixing them as soon as possible....for instance I have some quick replies. Tom: Thanks for checking at the readme file, I used the Illinois scenery readme as template and forgot to edit that part...it has been fixed. Stan: Yes, those concrete squares may somewhat odd, I didn´t wanted to use AFCAD to delimit the factory areas....I used ground2k4´s stock "cement" texture instead, but I didn´t tried it with another texture...maybe asphalt?.....however, that was just another "last minute" addition to enhance the approach. capflyer: didn´t noticed those "blue" effects you mention....a screenshot could help me to have a better idea abou what is displaying badly there... ------------------------------ All the best!

Yeah, like I said, I can't tell what it was yet, but when I get a chance to test it some more, I'll take screens.
