Thanks Tom,I'll resize in future.
How can I activate the "Mute" switch, It came to my attention that may be why I'm not hearing the copilot and pilots' conversations .wavs. This consols aren't active, neither pilot or copilots' sides. I reccomended the pane to a simmer friend and he's amazed at the work. He installled in Fs9 and brought this to my attention...About the switch. But I can't move it with the mouse; Is there another window one can open to click on these commands? All I am missing from her is these sounds.

Tom, I forgot to mention that under FSX also we have to press I, even in day lights. But on this plane, and under FSX, the fact to activate the lights is enough

This is the gauge problem referred to in the previous replies (many thanks, Pao): I am sorry to hear it isn't an FSX-only issue then. Back to the drawing board ... Pao: thanks for drawing attention to the interference with the DME, might be a clue. There are no hidden or semitransparent objects anywhere near, so it must indeed be related to the gauges themselves... Defender, and others making suggestions for a different cockpit layout, could you post a screenshot hilighting the changes? See p. 4, reply 49 ...

Manfred,
Thanks for the hard work. This has to be the best propliner release since the L-049, a benchmark only now equalled. And since it's had over 3800 downloads since release, I guess many others (and not just those who've posted here) agree. I installed it a couple of days ago, and took it for a flight from Berlin Schoenefeld to Rome Ciampino. The FD are a big improvement on V1.1, and this is the best VC I've ever seen. I normally don't pay much attention to VC's, but this might convert me.
However, I am sorry to see that FSAviator's FD won't be updated in the forseeable future. I hope we will see an alternate FD from him soon.
I also have one question. I tried the 2D view button in the VC, but nothing happened?? There's no mention of it in the documentation that I can find. Can you advise, please?
Once again, thanks for all the hard work. You and the team have created a masterpiece.
Cheers, Mike.

I'm stunned by this piece of art. This model shows both the work and commitment put into this project. Thanks to Manfred and his team.

Hi Manfred, no sweat buddy ;D, the black texture appears on the AP panel when turning on the DME with locking to your Favourite VOR station,. the radio panel black textures appear only some times, panning maybe, you can make it go away by turning off the DME & clicking the panel light switch on & off, maybe its also affected with the lighting thanks alot Pao.

I get the black boxes too...They dissapear when I press the on switches up there and pan a little. Oh this is joy dispite the flaws I'm experiencing like the voices not being heard? Could it be a vista,FSX SP2 or memory issue; All other sounds are AOK. A simmer friend of mine just installed in Fs9 and reported that the mute switch remain static, but he can hear the voices...Is there3 a way to make that switch go on? I've looked into subpanels to see if from in there there was a way,but I didn't find anything.

I put in the line in the aircraft.cfg to make the v/c brighter and it worked fine on the Starliner TWA N7307C: ...But when I tried the Lufthansa L1649A Starliner cargo 1964 D-ALUB the background is dark, despite trying the lights commands? ...And I have used the "I" key didn't help What am I doing wrong? Sorry Tom I thought I had resized, I'm using paint as a tool to take screenies, even though I minimized the zoom they came out like this. I'm sorry. I'm using the textures eddie sent me before the launch of the v/c model...If there are other textures files, can anyone tell me where to get them?Please!?...

Hi Bernardo, select all textures from the new TWA folder and copy them into the Lufthansa folder. But attention !, be sure not to overwrite the existing files......click no, if you get asked to overwrite Wolfgang PS: You have to do that with all old repaints

After installing the textures I had from the previous install I nnotice the v/c has a black background, not grey and it's unsuable on the side consoles. I posted other places regarding this...

The old textures do not have all the VC textures that is the reason you get the black panel and the blue-ish controls and so on. In the readme of the zip it explains how to install older version textures into the new V2. But basically if you open the one texture folder from the new version you'll find a number of textures with VC in the name. Copy all of them into your old textures and you should be all set.

Hi Manferd and everyone I have found a solution to the black boxes over the radios and autopilot if you go to the vnconnie1649a cab file in the panel and remove the radioap and radio shadow alpha's the black boxes no longer show up! I guess they were for fsx sp2 , but dont work properly for fsx either rgds Edd Hi just checked it works in fsx sp1 and sp2 as well

Dumb question time: What is the purpose of the gauge, in 2D panel (FS9), to the left and at the top of the panel that says 'Liftoff'? Interesting to say the least, but I've not found anything definitive on the reason for being or functions.
Thanks in advance and a BIG thank you to Manfred and all the others who created such a magnificent aircraft. This beauty has raised the bar for payware and it's 'just' freeware.

Hi,
this gauge is a leftover from flight testing. See reply #65 on page 5. They can be easily edited out.
Best regards, Volker
