Well, it's on its way. It can still bounce, as it often has, but perhaps it won't. How to land a Starliner in five easy steps: 1) Make sure your landing weight is 123,000 lbs or less. 2) One mile out, reduce speed to 115 KIAS, full flaps. 3) Further reduce speed to less than 100 (89, in the picture below) 4) Raise nose and settle on the runway. 5) Click into the reverse lights (repeatedly if necessary) to trigger semi-automatic reversing. Voila! Hey I just noticed I've been promoted to (honorary?) Super Connie status

Thanks Manfred and the Starliner team! I just checked it out here at work (just a peek!) and it's gorgeous! You've created an incredible ambiance with that virtual cockpit! I appreciate the time you took with the texturing to make it look so good. And the little extras like the visors are a fun touch. Unfortunately my computer just can't handle such a detailed plane, but that's of course no fault of yours and I do think that we are at a point in time where most computers can handle it just fine and developers can and should let loose and create more detailed/complex planes.
I look forward to spending some time in this plane should I be blessed with a new computer! ::keeping fingers crossed mine dies soon:: ;D ;D ;D

I just want to throw in my heartfelt thanks to the team for this awesome museum piece, a product of so many hours of due diligence and a labour of love. The modeling, panel, gauges and instruments, the sounds, the lighting, and the smoothness of the flight model are all to be commended.
In an earlier thread, Colonial probably said it best, Maarten agreed, and Tom capped it off. Thank you so much for you major contribution to the FS community and to the Classics community in particular. And thanks to all the great people who call this place home, who question, research, contribute, and encourage designers as they work painstakingly through the thousands of details in these projects that seemly go on forever. Designers need the support to make it through the hard times.
And thank you (to the many who provided parts and pulled together a panel) team for continuing to provide a beautiful 2D panel. I love it!
How sweet it is! {{{Applause}}}
