AI ships only are visible in a radius of 425,000 ft, like AI airplanes. Another problem would be the maritime environment itself. No lake, no ocean would be absolutely flat. Therefore AI ships sooner or later will bounce and disappear. I did the experience on the ocean side of Long Island. As suggested by Tom, you might let leaving a ship at Southampton and arrriving some days later at NY while using fake 'airports' near the ports. BTW, I added some CFS2 junks as static AI at Hong Kong harbour. They almost do the same effect as the one shown by Hendrik. Bernard

I know I posted 2 posts, one for general discussion, one here I really like these hydrofoils And the entry was from June 14, 2020, so I didn't think it hadn't been published yet. But if so, I will wait patiently;) Best regards Witold

Finally it is time to publish something After months of work distracted slightly by the appearance of MSFS the Global Classic AI Ship Traffic is ready for beta testing. It isn't really global yet, rather I chose to add ship traffic to some cities with Classic Sceneries from the sixties available for FSX and/or P3D plus some additional areas... It is a first version so more cities - and more ships - will come if there is interest. If all go well it could be uploaded before New Year as a late Christmas present... SS Canberra in New York Queen Mary by Erwin Welker in New York German Navy ships from the sixties near Kiel by Erwin Welker Tugs are present in many places... Hydrofoils between Copenhagen and Malmo

The Global Classic AI Ship Traffic was uploaded to Avsim.com and Simviation.com today. 250 ships recreating shipping from the sixties for FSX and P3D. The package should become available within the next 24 hours. i added a lot of variations of the Liberty, C1-A, and C1-B ships as well as more Navy ships in the last weeks making a much more correct traffic pattern for the period than in the first Beta test. Wairimu, C1-B freighter under the flag of New Zealand Artemis, a Greek Liberty ship Ready for search and rescue? The Flying Enterprise sinks 60 kilometres South of Falmouth, United Kingdom. youtu.be/nUVlP_s6imY
